Project Details:
NUC was contracted by the US Department of Agriculture to reconstruct the historic 1954 Diamond Lake Drawdown Canal. Highlights included excavation of a 12 x 27 x 400 foot wasting channel, installation of two box culverts (11 x 4 x 72 foot and a 8 x 6 x 36 foot), refurbishment of two historic headwall gates, construction of a new headwall with stainless steel gate. dredging of a 700 foot submerged channel. Job was completed over a two and one half month period with ZERO accidents.
