Completed: October, 2004 |

Project Details:
NUC mobilized inspection and work class remotely operated vehicles (ROV’s) to the Hood Canal Bridge in response to an emergency anchor wire repair project. NUC used the ROV’s to clean marine life from the bridge anchor block, salvage valuable anchor wire components and install a new messenger line from the anchor block to the surface. This was accomplished in 350 feet of water with strong tidal currents. In addition to the work, a post-installation survey was performed
of the anchor block and 2500 feet of anchor wire.
